• The use of Intel® Core™ Duo multi-core processors in many Fujitsu LIFEBOOK notebooks helps decrease total CPU energy use. A multi-core processor occupies the same space as a single-core processor, but doubles the amount of processing power and reduces the amount of power consumption required for two separate processor chips.
• To meet the ENERGY STAR® 4.0 guidelines, set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy, Fujitsu has implemented the latest power-saving technology in its mobile computers, including high-efficiency processors from Intel® that feature ultra-low voltage and speed stepping capabilities.
