Instructions when notebook is dropped or damaged

Statement

In the event you drop your notebook or damage the housing in any way, immediately turn off power and disconnect the power plug. Failure to do so could result in a short circuit, smoke and/or fire. To learn how to get the system repaired: Contact Fujitsu Service and Support.

Safe Travel With Batteries:

The U.S. Department of Transportation has new rules which took effect on January 1, 2008, that prohibit airline passengers from packing spare lithium metal (non-rechargeable) batteries and lithium ion rechargeable batteries in checked baggage but allow travelers to bring spare batteries (with some limitations) in carry-on luggage. • FAI does not use Lithium metal in the main/bay batteries
• FAI main/bay batteries do not contain over 8g/pack lithium
